        Founded in 1974, the Rodman Group is Spain’s oldest company in its sector. Its experience and track record in the construction of over 13,000 vessels locate it as an indisputable leader in the Spanish boat-building sector.
        The Rodman Group’s highly diversified and versatile product range encompasses the know-how that is its major intangible asset. The highest standards of quality, maximum safety and optimal sailing performance are the marks of the Rodman brand. The three divisions into which Rodman is divided –steel boats, professional sailing boats and pleasure craft –encapsulate the plurality of the company’s product range.
        Its different boatyards build GRP patrol boats with hulls of up to 30 metres, steel boats with hulls of up to 170 metres, GRP fishing boats with hulls of over 36 metres, regatta boats (such as the America’s Cup Rioja de Espana), and pleasure craft for three differentiated ranges: Rodman Yacht, Rodman Fisher and Cruiser, and Rodman Muse.
        With five boatyards located in Spain and Portugal, the Rodman Group has the largest industrial premises in the sector, totalling 240,000 square metres, 66,000 of which are covered. These facilities have enabled the company to devise an ambitious international expansion plan whose aim is to achieve an export rate of 85% of production in the medium term.The premises are composed of boatyards at Metalships & Docks in Vigo, Rodman Polyships in Moana, Rodman Lusitania in Valenca do Minho, Conafi in Vila Real de San Antonio and Neuvisa in El Rosal.
        Of note is the recently inaugurated boatyard, Rodman Lusitania, encapsulating as it does, the growth of the company and its leadership vision. Equipped with state-of-the-art production equipment and systems –the most advanced in Europe– its industrial capacity places it as a leader in the national market.
        Its spirit of ongoing improvement has led to the Rodman Group developing its own internal quality system: the Rodman Quality System (RQS). This system focuses on exhaustive control of production materials and processes and rigorous open-sea tests for each unit. This ensures the highest quality on delivery of the vessel and guarantees conditions that are unbeaten in the marketplace.
        All the Rodman products are backed by the most important international quality certificates: ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and Pecal 2110/AQAP.
